Autonomy, cross-functional leadership, and a data-informed approach are key to success in this fast-moving and high-visibility environment. - Own the product vision for sitewide audience experiences, including homepage, article pages, landing pages, and off-site channels such as Push and Apple News. - Drive audience growth and engagement by improving metrics such as time on site, return frequency, content recirculation, and depth of interaction. - Lead experimentation, testing, and iteration to optimize user experience, performance, and conversion across high-impact digital surfaces. - Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Design to deliver scalable, accessible, and technically sound front-end experiences. - Partner with Editorial, Audience Development, Consumer Revenue, and Advertising teams to ensure product initiatives support audience growth and business objectives. - Identify and launch new content formats, modules, and experiences to unlock incremental audience and revenue opportunities. - Define success metrics with Business Intelligence teams, using insights to inform roadmap decisions, prioritization, and product strategy. - Act as a senior product leader across initiatives, driving alignment, execution, and mentoring other product managers.
