Bilingual Physical Therapist

Vori Health

• Practicing at the top of your license by ensuring your patients are screened appropriately for concerning symptoms or findings and you are able to refer patients to other Vori healthcare professionals as appropriate • Perform initial and ongoing digital physical therapy evaluations according to APTA standards of practice as well as state standards • Demonstrate excellent and clear clinical decision making with patients across the musculoskeletal care spectrum utilizing a biopsychosocial model • Develop a Plan of Treatment, implement this plan, and effectively manage this plan for each patient safely and efficiently, including short- and long-term goals, collaboration goals of other Vori team members, and required patient and caregiver involvement • Adjust the Plan of Treatment on a consistent schedule according to patient progress • Documenting patient progress according to approved medical documentation and facility documentation procedures • Maintain professional and technical knowledge through attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, etc. • Communicate and assist other Vori care team members as needed to provide care and create an orderly and effective treatment of rehabilitation and physical therapy • Meet company and quality standards as defined by Vori Health • Responsible for overseeing and supervising the work of Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs), ensuring they deliver safe and effective patient care by communicating and collaborating, developing treatment plans, co-signing PTA notes, monitoring progress, providing guidance, and ensuring compliance with clinical standards within a physical therapy practice. • Perform other projects and duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • A Doctorate of Physical Therapy Degree
  • Active, unencumbered PT license in your home state
  • State of residence is part of the PT Compact
  • Orthopedic Physical Therapy Expertise: At least 3 years of experience in digital care or outpatient physical therapy clinic evaluating and treating patients with a range of musculoskeletal pain conditions utilizing a biopsychosocial model. OCS a plus
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Demonstrated track record of continuing education and/or post-graduate training in relevant areas
  • Demonstrated competence and passion for digital care delivery or telehealth: Comfort evaluating and treating patients remotely utilizing a variety of digital tools to manage care and experience administering a wide range of physical therapy techniques delivered digitally
  • Completion of the APTA telehealth certificate course series
  • Proven record of matching patient needs to treatment plans and proven record of implementing these plans safely and effectively
  • Strong experience administering a wide range of physical therapy techniques delivered digitally
  • A strong sense of empathy and the ability to motivate patients into pushing their limits in a responsible, safe way
  • Ability to create effective therapeutic alliances with patients while providing exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail while working across custom software during patient care delivery.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Critical thinking skills, flexibility, and the ability to design innovative solutions in a fast-paced environment
  • Graceful at managing expectations while pushing for continuous improvement
