Role Description We’re hiring a remote Unity 3D Artist / Generalist for a 6-month contract, with the possibility of longer-term work. In this role, you’ll work as part of our Creative team to create polished, game-ready 3D assets for interactive experiences. You’ll help turn concepts and references into optimized assets for use in real-time environments, including props, characters, and environments. This is a good opportunity for someone with a generalist mindset who enjoys working across different types of 3D art production. - Create 3D assets for interactive real-time environments, including props, characters, and environment pieces. - Take assets from concept or reference through modelling, texturing, and final game-ready delivery. - Produce optimized assets suitable for use in Unity and other real-time applications. - Contribute across a range of 3D art tasks, including hard-surface and organic modelling. - Support the Creative team by iterating on assets based on direction and feedback from the team lead. - Collaborate with artists, designers, and developers to ensure assets are visually strong, technically appropriate, and ready for implementation. Qualifications - 2+ years of professional 3D art experience, or equivalent practical experience demonstrated through shipped projects, freelance work, or a strong portfolio. - Professional-level knowledge of a 3D modelling tool, with Blender strongly preferred. - Experience across a range of 3D modelling disciplines, including hard-surface and organic modelling for real-time applications. - Experience with end-to-end asset creation, from reference to textured, engine-ready visual assets. - Familiarity with Unity 2022 and newer versions. - Excellent communication skills.
