The Outsourced Accounting Services (OAS) Project Accountant works with accounting software/systems, will manage a variety of tasks, and will be communicating with clients and co-workers. This is a remote position that can work from anywhere within the United States. What you’ll do at SN: - Assist your clients in the complete project cycle; to include project entry, billing and project related reporting. - Services including: project setup, data management and grooming, client invoicing, bank reconciliations, credit card imports, and other transactional accounting functions - Provide recurring daily/weekly transactional assists to clients including accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit card import, and consultant invoice management. - A problem solver for both the client and SN OAS. Role Description The Corporate Accounting team is looking for a Staff Corporate Accountant to join our growing team. You’ll have the unique opportunity to build processes, collaborate cross functionally, and play a key role in the team’s ability to scale. The Staff Corporate Accountant will own various functional accounting areas and gain exposure to ad hoc initiatives and projects. • Perform day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring accurate journal entries in the accounting system and follow-up on any unusual transactions. • Prepare journal entries, perform financial analysis and support the month-end close process. • Prepare and maintain reconciliations for balance sheet accounts assigned. • Perform financial statement reviews during month-end close and provide detailed explanations for period over period changes in the financial statements. • Assist in the preparation and analysis of Greenlight’s revenue, cost of sales expenses, prepaid expenses, among other key operating expenses. • Assist in review of key accounts payable metrics, accounts receivable aging reports and customer cash application to support achievement of team KPIs. • Assist in management of the Accounts Payable team, including review over the completeness and accuracy of transactions from the subledger systems (vendor bills, employee reimbursements, and corporate card review). • Participate in a variety of cross-functional projects with other departments that include data validation, review of reports, development of AI Agents and use of AI tools, communication with vendors, implementation of systems, business systems support, among others. • Support in developing workbooks, data reporting, data automations, journal entries and reconciliations related to new accounting areas resulting from product launches and other changes in the business. • Support external audit requests for specific areas of responsibility.
