Role Description The Development Content Manager is a key player in the Development Department. The position will ensure that donors are properly communicated through donor-centric solicitations and appeals, inspiring cases for support, and tailored proposals for other donor related correspondence. The Development Content Manager reports to the Director of Philanthropy and works in partnership with the Project’s Development Team, Communications Manager, Executive Director, staff, and Board of Directors. The position will be based in the Tucson or Phoenix office, with travel to other Project offices. Essential Duties & Responsibilities - Marketing and Communications Publications - Conduct client interviews, primarily in Spanish, through a trauma-informed perspective. - Craft stories in a clear, meaningful, and empowering way. - Curate and expand an organized library of written, video, photo, and audio assets. - Produce high quality, inspiring, publication-ready content across various formats. - Build communications that inspire significant investment aligned with mission needs. - Assist with other external and internal communications as needed. - Write strategic, inspiring, publication-ready pieces with clarity and warmth. - Manage multiple deadlines and projects simultaneously. - Maintain a working knowledge of communications best practices and trends. - Website and Social Media Content - Work in partnership with the team to maintain and supervise the social media calendar. - Oversee the social media calendar. - Develop and update website content as needed. - Annual Report - Lead the research, writing, and production of the organization's annual report. - Ensure exceptional photography and design throughout the report. - Special Projects - Develop major written, visual, and multimedia assets. - Pursue opportunities to elevate organizational stories through external publication. - Execute on special projects as assigned from concept through completion. - General Development - Assist with the organization and implementation of Development department events. - Work with a team to achieve FIRRP’s fundraising goals. - Complete 5 personalized donor actions each week. Qualifications - At least 5 years of experience in writing, communications, marketing, or social media. - Fluent in Spanish, both spoken and written. - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Raiser's Edge, Asana, a plus. - Exceptional writer with the ability to produce publication-ready work. - Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail. - Self-starter and collaborative team player. - Warm, people-oriented communicator. - Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with diverse populations. - Aptitude for critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making. - Exhibits high ethical standards and the ability to maintain confidentiality. - Must be able to pass basic background checks. - Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Computercraft is seeking an Online Content Specialist to join the PubMed Central (PMC) Production Team at the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI). This team member will be responsible for liaising with journal publishers, data providers, PMC users, and the National Library of Medicine (NLM) staff. General duties will include evaluating XML submissions, providing customer service to PMC content providers, handling Help Desk queries, and providing input on the PMC article display.
