Energy Systems Analyst I
ENFRA
• The Energy Systems Analyst is responsible for assessing building mechanical and electrical systems while performing technical on site surveys and in office analysis on assigned projects. • Assists in the production of projects that are on-time, within-budget and meet the requirements of industry standards & codes and client specifications. • Conducts site surveys to determine existing facility conditions either independently or with senior level staff/project manager. • Assists in identifying and preparing energy efficient and deferred maintenance scope. • Assists in the performing of mechanical system calculations including load calculations, ventilation schedules, etc. • Interacts in meetings with internal company members as related to the project deliverables. • Reviews and analyzes the designs and prepared drawings for mechanical systems for projects including duct and pipe sizing with assistance from senior level staff. • Assists the development team in the coordination with other discipline including energy modeling, financial modeling, lighting, design, etc. • Attends in-house and external training sessions to obtain knowledge in necessary technical areas related to building systems. • Participates in industry organizations and attends events, meetings, and activities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from a four year ABET accredited university.
- 1-3 years of experience
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills and aptitude.
- Required experience in Excel and Word.
- Ability to communicate effectively with facility managers and engineers.
- Ability to work independently to meet deadlines while on survey.
- Ability to manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.
- Ability to use technology and apps for collecting data while on survey.
- Passion for quality and client satisfaction
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Versed in the industry and the Company's competitors.
- Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary.
