Role Description It is the responsibility of the Licensing Coordinator to assist with the administration and continued development of BetMGM’s licensing program. The position will interact with employees from various departments to ensure the company is fully compliant with regulatory licensing obligations. Responsibilities - Assist with various aspects of the employee, vendor, and corporate licensing program; - Responsible for administrative tasks such as coordinating fingerprinting appointments, submission of license materials to regulatory bodies, shipping, tracking schedule of fee due to regulatory bodies etc.; - Communicate license status of employees to line managers on a continual basis; - Responsible for drafting documentation such as submission cover letters and letters of support; - Assist employees with the completion of occupational licensing materials; - Maintain confidential company and personal data; - Other job-related duties as requested. Essential Functions - Must be able to stand or sit and operate computers and other technological devices for extended periods of time. Qualifications - Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment, maintaining a proper mental attitude to deal effectively with management, employees, regulatory agencies and professional advisors; - Excellent customer service skills; - Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts; - Highly organized with superior attention to detail; - Strong written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education and experience; - Paralegal or legal assistance experience is a plus; - Previous experience in a highly regulated environment (gaming industry preferred). Requirements - The hourly pay range for this position is $21.00 to $25.00. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. - This position is also eligible for participation in a performance-based bonus plan. - Applicants must possess legal authorization to work for our company in the U.S. without the need for immigration sponsorship. - This role is not eligible for immigration-related employment authorization sponsorship including H-1B, O-1, E-3, TN, OPT, etc. Gaming Compliance & Licensing Requirements - As an online gaming company, BetMGM is required to comply with state gaming regulations which includes licensing obligations. - Applicable employees must be licensed by at least one jurisdictional agency, although certain positions require licensing by multiple agencies. - Failure to become licensed or maintain licensure with each agency as required for the role may result in termination of employment. - The licensing process includes comprehensive background checks which may include a review of criminal records, financial history, and personal background verification. - Candidates must comply with and support BetMGM's responsible gambling policies, procedures, and initiatives.
