Role Description We are looking for a Scala Developer to join our team and help us support our growth and accelerate our client development roadmap as a freelancer. Our client is an innovative MedTech company building cutting-edge Software as a Medical Device (SaMD). They specialize in AI-driven healthcare solutions for disease detection and diagnostics across global markets. Qualifications - Familiar with Scala, Python, and TypeScript - Knowledge of software design patterns and programming principles - Familiar with cloud infrastructure (specifically Azure) - Experience with specialized data and healthcare integrations (e.g., AI/ML, DICOM, and HL7) - Communicating well in English (both written and spoken) Company Description

• Performs activities covering the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to supporting the final deployment of the functionalities developed, in line with agile development practices. • Join the development team, taking on work items for each Sprint. • Perform development-related activities such as analysis and design, programming, testing, and requirements. • Manage own work, promptly informing the team of any delays or other impediments. • Provide guidance and support to the developers on the project team. • Code and integrate software components according to technical specifications, using the development tools, programming languages, and libraries defined for the project. • Provide support to the IT team and client users, when requested, regarding the characteristics and specifics of developed components, modules, and software packages. • Conduct training and knowledge transfer to the client on the developed software to ensure proper system operation. • Perform customizations by developing ABAP code or on the Web Dynpro platform. • Program and develop software.

• Develop and support business intelligence solutions and reporting applications for Medicaid Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW). • Design, develop, and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations supporting Medicaid program operations and analytics. • Develop complex SQL queries and data models to support reporting and analytics needs. • Build enterprise reporting solutions using BI tools such as Tableau, Cognos, and similar platforms. • Ensure reports and dashboards meet performance, usability, and accessibility standards. • Implement data validation and quality checks within reporting solutions. • Develop and maintain reports supporting Medicaid program oversight, including eligibility, claims, providers, and encounters. • Support reporting for Medicaid program areas including Managed Care, Fee-for-Service (FFS), Provider Management, Member Eligibility, and Pharmacy. • Assist with analysis of healthcare utilization, cost trends, and program performance metrics. • Develop reports supporting federal reporting requirements including CMS reporting submissions. • Validate source-to-report data mapping and transformation logic.
