Role Description The Junior Salesforce Administrator Intern supports the administration, upkeep, and ongoing improvement of the organization’s Salesforce environment. Working 20 hours per week, the intern assists senior administrators with user management, data maintenance, system configuration, reporting, and issue troubleshooting. This role is designed to provide practical, hands-on experience with Salesforce while accommodating a part-time schedule, making it ideal for students or early career professionals looking to build foundational CRM and technical administration skills. The internship is expected to start on June 1, 2026, and end by August 21, 2026. Qualifications - Enrolled in Undergraduate or Graduate level Technology related degree - Less than 2 years Salesforce experience - Active Trailhead account - Engaged with Salesforce Community (member of chapter group, attended group meetings, asking/answering questions in Trailhead) Requirements - Create and maintain user accounts, profiles, permission sets, and roles. - Provide first-level support for Salesforce users, resolving basic issues and escalating when needed. - Perform routine data maintenance: imports, updates, deduplication, and validation. - Monitor system usage and help ensure adherence to data governance standards. - Assist with configuring standard objects, custom fields, page layouts, list views, and Lightning pages. - Build or update reports and dashboards to support team performance tracking. - Help maintain email templates and commonly used communication assets. - Assist in creating or updating simple automation (Flows, assignment rules, etc.) under guidance. - Participate in testing system changes, new features, or integrations before deployment. - Document system updates and maintain basic configuration documentation. - Help gather requirements for small enhancements or user-requested changes. - Assist with preparing end-user training materials, guides, and how-to documents. - Support onboarding of new Salesforce users through walkthroughs or resource preparation. - Run recurring data quality checks and support data cleanup initiatives. - Assist in compiling routine reporting packages for internal teams. - Help track adoption metrics and suggest opportunities for usability improvements. - Complete assigned Salesforce Trailhead modules to advance platform knowledge. - Participate in weekly team check-ins or standups to align on priorities. - Stay up to date on Salesforce seasonal releases and identify features relevant to the team.
