• Design and evolve the enterprise Azure Lakehouse architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and long-term sustainability. • Lead the transformation of classic Data Warehouse environments into modern Lakehouse and Delta Lake-based architectures. • Take architectural ownership from concept through implementation, production rollout, and continuous optimization. • Define and implement architecture principles, standards, patterns, and best practices for data engineering and analytics platforms. • Design and oversee data ingestion, processing, and streaming pipelines using Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Event Hub, and Azure Logic Apps. • Build and optimize data processing solutions using Delta Lake, Spark, Spark Structured Streaming, SQL, and Python. • Define data modeling strategies across data lake and warehouse layers, applying Kimball, Inmon, and Data Vault methodologies. • Collaborate with engineering teams to implement reference architectures, prototypes, and proof-of-concepts. • Enable and coach data engineering teams toward autonomous, high-quality solution development. • Ensure platform designs comply with enterprise security, data protection, and regulatory requirements. • Support advanced analytics, self-service BI, and reporting use cases across the organization. • Work closely with product owners, architects, governance, and business stakeholders in agile delivery environments. • Contribute to continuous improvement of platform architecture, development processes, and operating models.

• Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions across Azure and AWS, focusing on scalability, reliability, and performance optimization • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and AWS CodePipeline with automated testing and deployment strategies • Implement and optimize containerized applications using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), and container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes • Develop infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform, Azure Bicep, ARM Templates, and AWS CloudFormation with emphasis on modularity and reusability • Implement comprehensive observability solutions using Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch, Dynatrace, or similar tools, creating dashboards, alerts, and monitoring best practices • Provision and maintain AI service infrastructure, ensuring high availability of model endpoints, implementing fallbacks and guardrails, deploying central AI platform components (proxies, gateways, monitoring), and managing observability, logs, and cost attribution workflows • Design and manage message queuing systems for event-driven architectures using RabbitMQ, Kafka, Azure Service Bus, AWS SQS/SNS, and third-party solutions • Optimize cloud storage solutions across platforms: Azure (Blob Storage, Files, Data Lake Storage) and AWS (S3, EBS, EFS) • Implement security best practices across both platforms including: IAM policies and role-based access control (Azure RBAC, AWS IAM), Secrets management (Azure Key Vault, AWS Secrets Manager), Certificate lifecycle management (Azure Key Vault, AWS Certificate Manager), Network security (Azure NSG/Firewall, AWS Security Groups/Network Firewall) • Perform performance tuning and scalability optimization for applications, including load testing and capacity planning • Conduct incident response, root cause analysis, and implement improvements to prevent recurrence • Collaborate with development teams to ensure infrastructure supports application requirements and deployment needs • Mentor L1, L2, and L3 engineers on cloud technologies, DevOps practices, and troubleshooting techniques • Contribute to infrastructure standards, best practices documentation, and runbook development • Support disaster recovery planning and backup/restore procedures with testing and validation • Monitor and optimize cloud spending through FinOps practices, implementing cost-saving measures across both platforms • Work with both Azure and AWS platforms daily to support mission-critical production workloads

• Provide technical leadership for a large-scale cloud migration initiative. • Develop the overall architectural strategy for migrating on-premises workloads and applications to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). • Work closely with senior stakeholders, technical teams, and project managers on cloud solutions. • Define architectural standards, patterns, and best practices for migrating enterprise workloads to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. • Architect end-to-end cloud solutions, including compute, storage, networking, databases, and integration components. • Lead the assessment of existing systems and develop comprehensive roadmaps and migration strategies. • Ensure cloud architecture incorporates security, compliance, disaster recovery, and business continuity requirements. • Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and security teams to guide migration of complex business applications. • Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and recommend adoption. • Serve as a mentor and technical authority for engineering teams. • Maintain comprehensive architectural and process documentation and communicate technical information effectively.

• Develop, implement, monitor, and enforce cloud governance frameworks and policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices; We automate everything for efficiency • Ensure cloud infrastructure adheres to security best practices and compliance standards • Conduct regular security assessments and audits • Implement and manage identity and access management (IAM) policies • Manage and implement hardware security keys (e.g., YubiKeys) • Monitor cloud usage, costs, and implement strategies to optimize spending • Provide regular reports and insights on cloud costs and usage trends to senior leadership and Finance • Develop automated, seamless, and simple solutions to minimize repetitive manual operations • Work closely with development and security teams to minimize restrictions that inhibit progress as well as ensuring cloud governance policies are integrated into workflows • Provide communication, training, and guidance to development teams on new policies, procedures, and best practices for cloud resource management • Develop CI/CD pipelines for deploying policies and other CSP management • Respond to and resolve cloud governance-related incidents and issues; Provide root cause analysis when necessary
