This position exists to ultimately manage the data division of the residential mortgage servicing rights (MSR) valuation team. The position will lead in the development and maintenance of data processing models, as well as the daily management of client data provided to the valuation team for pricing the MSR asset. This role’s responsibilities will also involve the creation and development of advanced analytics tools. The role will include aspects of strategy development and execution, oversight of junior personnel, and client relationship management. Essential Job Functions: - Development and maintenance of data processing and data models to align with industry best practices and changing client needs - Interfaces with clients and/or related stakeholders to explain methodologies and resolve data issues - Manage and process client data as part of the overall MSR pricing process - Certain managerial responsibilities with respect to training of junior personnel and training of new software and tools - Responsible for certain client relationship management - Works with leadership to develop and implement strategic initiatives - Provide recommendations for improving processes and optimizing data process - Other activities as may be assigned by your manager Qualifications/ Requirements: - Bachelor’s Degree in related field required or combination of education and experience - Minimum of 8+ years of industry and/or relevant experience, typically with 2+ years in an AVP level role or external equivalent. - Relevant experience in a data or analytics role is preferred - Strong understanding of relevant financial and fixed-income topics - Strong Microsoft Office skills with emphasis on Excel and Access - Strong Microsoft Office SQL skills - Experience with data visualization tools - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with large and varied datasets - A deep understanding of the mortgage servicing asset, including cash flow modeling and pricing of MSRs, is preferred #LI-REMOTE Note: This job description is not intended to be all inclusive or exclusive. The annual full time base salary range for this role is $95,000.00 - $160,000.00 Specific compensation is determined through interviews and a review of relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and SitusAMC Senior Management approval.
