The Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) Intern supports the integration of information technology (IT) and facilities management to help monitor and document data center infrastructure. In this role, the intern learns how DCIM tools are used to track assets, manage capacity, and maintain accurate configuration data within the Configuration Management Database (CMDB). The intern will assist with using DCIM software, identifying basic issues, and working with team members to improve system functionality. This is a 100% travel role responsible for implementation, configuration, upgrades, and troubleshooting of enterprise storage solutions at customer data centers. The consultant will work directly with infrastructure, mainframe, and SAN teams to ensure high availability, optimal performance, and compliance with enterprise storage standards. The role may also include training on other HPE storage products.
