Lead Product Manager – Card Issuing

Breeze Cash - Breeze Labs, Inc.

• Own the 0→1 development and launch of our card issuing program, including physical and virtual cards. • Define and execute the card issuing product roadmap, from infrastructure and integrations to user-facing features. • Work closely with issuing banks, payment processors, and card networks (Visa/Mastercard) to launch and scale our card program. • Lead the development of core card functionality, including card provisioning, tokenization, authorization flows, controls, dispute handling, and lifecycle management. • Build and optimize consumer card experiences, including card activation, spending controls, notifications, and transaction visibility. • Partner deeply with engineering, compliance, risk, and operations to design reliable and compliant payment flows. • Drive integrations with wallets, crypto infrastructure, and digital asset products where relevant. • Translate complex payments infrastructure into simple, trusted consumer experiences. • Monitor card program performance including authorization rates, fraud metrics, transaction success, and operational reliability. • Collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure seamless integrations and operational excellence. • Identify opportunities to improve card economics, product differentiation, and user engagement.

Job Requirements

  • 8+ years of Product Management experience, with meaningful time spent in fintech or payments.
  • Direct experience launching or scaling a card issuing program (0→1 or major rebuild).
  • Deep familiarity with card issuing infrastructure, including banks, processors, and card networks.
  • Experience working with authorization flows, transaction lifecycle, disputes, and card controls.
  • Strong understanding of payments architecture and financial systems.
  • Ability to operate in fast-moving startup environments with high ownership and ambiguity.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, compliance, operations, and external partners.
  • Strong product instincts and ability to translate complex systems into great user experiences.
  • Preference for candidates who can work hybrid in our NYC office.
