Main Objective: The Learning Management System (LMS) at Arthrex is a global system that provides, maintains and supports all essential training records for employees in every country and region. The LMS Analyst position is responsible for the technical and non-technical management and maintenance of the company’s global learning management system. This role ensures the LMS operates effectively and efficiently to meet the learning and development needs of the organization. This position will support users, manage content, generate reports, and collaborate with various departments to create, deliver, test, assign, track, monitor, and evaluate training and learning programs needs and optimize the user learning experience. Additionally, they provide LMS related administrative support and accountability including daily administration, employee inquiries, monitoring training completion, creating system guides and documentation, working with departments to ensure all training related data are recorded correctly, and troubleshooting employee, training, and system issues. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Consult the business to understand training requirements and recommend and implement solutions as well as suggest alternative solutions. - Recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and the learning experience. - Develop, test, and deploy all LMS solutions and content. - Partners with global learning teams, departments, subject matter experts, vendors, instructors, and instructional designers across Arthrex to conduct needs analysis, create learning programs, and determine content organization, design, and delivery to support an engaging and effective user learning experience. - Provide training on all aspects of LMS to global organization. - Manage audit reporting. - Manage Open Content Network (OCN) integrates with external training vendors. - Determination of learning design and delivery within LMS. - Develop procedures and process flows for tasks related to LMS and e-learning authoring tools. - Ensure the LMS complies with all relevant regulations and standards. - May assist with instructional design projects as needed. - Analyze and report on trends, utilization, and other learning metrics and provide insights to the business on potential areas of improvement regarding learning. - Responsible for day-to-day organization of the system. - Provide ad hoc training to end users on how to use LMS. - Support and train other LMS staff. Experience & Education: - Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Learning Design and Technology, Business, Computer Science or similar - Master’s degree preferred - At least 7 years of experience working with a learning management system - Experience working with a Document Management System or Quality Management System is required - Experience collaborating with subject matter experts required - Previous position in regulated industry, Pharma or Medical Device industry a plus Knowledge & Skills: - Advanced knowledge and skills in managing learning systems and eLearning content authoring tools required. - Proficiency Microsoft Excel skills required. - Basic coding (HTML,CSS,SQL). - Experience with SuccessFactors LMS preferred. - Experience with SuccessFactors People Analytics or Plateau Report Designer is preferred. - In-depth knowledge of industry practices and standards in learning systems or learning-focused software. - Application of basic principles, theories, and concepts related to learning design and technology. - Strong business communication (written and oral) and presentation skills. - Strong ability to function independently and effectively as a primary contact with internal stakeholders and external vendors. - Ability to independently prioritize and execute multiple concurrent tasks/projects on time and deliver quality results. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy. - Ability to work comfortably at all levels within the organization up to the senior management level. - Demonstrated ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously. - Experience with process improvement techniques and tools.
