Regional Sales Manager

• The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in their assigned region • This role will staff and direct a sales team and provide leadership toward the achievement of maximum profitability and growth, in line with company vision and values • Collaborate with the Regional Director to achieve market revenue goals (accountable for sales element) • Supervise and coordinate regional sales colleagues including conducting 1:1 debriefs with all Account Executives, conducting 2-3 field rides, coaching, development, and formal performance review cycles • Conduct productive weekly sales meetings and sales training meetings focused on skill development and improving performance • In collaboration with business leaders, identify and set quarterly and annual sales goals within the region • Determine effective and efficient methods to attain revenue objectives for residential • Maintains and expands commercial customer base by counseling Account Executive sales representatives, building and maintaining rapport with key customers, and identifying new commercial business opportunities • Manage sales performance within the region and monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify where improvements can be made • Annually, develop a Regional Sales and Marketing Plan that supports Ambius Corporate Plan and integrates campaigns, lead generation activities, and target account management • Establish a high performing team and lead a culture of accountability that ensures delivery of sales objectives, including development and implementation of programs and promotions to motivate sales teams within the market • Travel to various field locations and/or other locations for program delivery, project support, and subject-matter expertise • Set a strong example for Account Executives in areas of personal character, commitment, organizational and selling skills, and work habits
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of experience, education, and training
- 8+ years of Sales management experience required
- Highly commercial and entrepreneurial with an attestable customer focus and growth mindset
- Highly driven, highly accountable, and has a strong work ethic
- Excellent people management skills with a proven history developing sales colleagues
- Strong EQ and ability to work with Colleagues with varying skills and experiences
- Provides clear, concise, and actionable feedback with examples
- Strong business acumen with a background in management, sales, training, relationship development and/or excellent customer experience
- Experience analyzing financial reports, in a complex, fast-paced environment
- Ability to obtain and maintain licenses/certificates as required by federal, state and local regulations
- Outstanding communication skills (including presentation skills) with demonstrated ability to influence at all levels with a range of internal and external stakeholders
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Position may require frequent overnight travel
- Must pass pre-employment background screen
- Valid driver’s license/clean driving record
