About the role Human Interest, the Retirement Industry Disruptor, is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Internal Wholesaler to join our dynamic sales team. The Internal Wholesaler will be responsible for supporting the sales efforts of an assigned territory, primarily partnering with external wholesalers, and driving the adoption of our retirement plan solutions among financial advisors and plan sponsors. This role is critical in maintaining and growing our market share through frequent outbound communication, timely internal support, and product knowledge. What you get to do every day Sales and Business Development Support - Proactively conduct outbound calls and emails to prospective and existing advisors to drive sales, promote product solutions, and schedule meetings for the External Wholesaler - Partner closely with the assigned External Wholesaler to develop and execute a comprehensive territory sales plan, focusing on identifying and cultivating relationships with key financial advisors and intermediaries - Monitor and present on an accurate pipeline to the Associate Director of Advisor Sales - Field inbound calls and respond to advisor inquiries regarding product features, pricing, investment options, plan design, regulatory updates, and the proposal process - Effectively articulate our value proposition, innovations, and velocity compared to our modern and legacy competitors - Manage a full sales process for select opportunities Relationship Management and Service - Serve as an on-demand point of contact for financial advisors within the territory, providing timely and accurate information and exceptional support - Maintain accurate and detailed records of all sales activities, advisor interactions, and pipeline progress within Salesforce and Outreach - Design and execute prospecting and nurturing campaigns in Outreach - Drive follow-up activities and timeline, including sending marketing materials, proposals, docusigns, and other requested documentation Product and Market Expertise - Develop a deep understanding of our 401(k) recordkeeping platform, administrative capabilities, participant services, and fee structure in addition to our implementation and ongoing service structures - Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes (e.g., ERISA, SEC), and competitor offerings to effectively position our solutions. Compensation - At Human Interest, we consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate pay range for each position, including the cost of labor in different markets across the U.S. The total On Target Earnings (OTE) for the role described in this job posting is $105,000 - $110,000 which includes a base salary range of $70,000 - $75,000, and a variable target compensation of $35,000. The specific pay rate offered is based on the candidate’s relevant skills and experience.
