OVERVIEW The Director, Biometrics Business Strategy at eClinical Solutions is a senior commercial leader responsible for driving revenue growth and strategic partnerships across biometrics services, including biostatistics, statistical programming, data management, and eClinical Solutions related analytics solution, elluminate. This role focuses on expanding new and existing client relationships within the life sciences industry, shaping go-to-market strategy, and positioning the organization as a trusted biometrics partner and as a resident SME to guide customers. The ideal candidate brings deep industry knowledge, strong executive presence, and a ability to work on closing complex deals in data management and biometrics services. KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES Business Development & Revenue Growth: - Own and execute the biometrics business development strategy to achieve and exceed revenue targets - Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities across biotech and pharma using industry connections, inside sales team, internal leads and cross selling across the current team - Drive large, complex deal pursuits including end to end and functional service provider (FSP) model - Build and manage pipeline with timely and accurate inputs in CRM(salesforce) to accurately forecasting and reporting to senior leadership Client & Partner Engagement: - Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, including data management, clinical, biometrics, and procurement leader - Develop long-term strategic relationships with accounts to support account expansion and retention in conjunction with Account Management team - Lead executive-level presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations Market & Solution Strategy: - Collaborate with biometrics, delivery, and product leadership to align offerings with market needs - Translate client challenges into differentiated biometrics solutions - Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes to inform strategy Internal Collaboration & Leadership: - Partner closely with operations, finance, and legal teams to ensure commercially viable and operationally sound deals - Provide input into pricing strategy, deal structures, and service innovation - Act as a senior ambassador for the biometrics business both internally and externally Education & Experience - Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MS, PhD, MBA) preferred - 5+ years of experience in combined experience in data management, life sciences, technology, business development within pharma/biotech, CROs, or life sciences services preferred - Demonstrated success selling biometrics services (biostatistics, statistical programming, data management, analytics) - Proven ability to close large, complex, multi-year contracts - Strong executive communication, negotiation, and presentation skills - Existing network within biotech and pharmaceutical biometrics organizations preferred - Experience with FSP, hybrid, or strategic partnership models preferred - Strong understanding of the clinical trial lifecycle and regulatory environment preferred Accelerate your skills and career within a fast-growing company while impacting the future of healthcare.
