Role Description The Sustainable Technology Program Lead is a critical member of the Living Progress team, responsible for helping shape HPE’s sustainable technology strategy and leading execution of the strategy by engaging across the company to drive toward our goals and vision. - Administer and grow HPE’s Sustainable Technology Program through creativity and program management expertise. - Track execution towards our sustainable tech strategy by organizing: - Business units’ updates on their sustainability priorities. - Regular cross-company meetings of sustainable technology leaders. - Periodic surveys of the sustainable technology portfolio and roadmap. - Manage sustainable technology resources including technical guides, trainings, and internal website. - Increase engagement of HPE’s technical community with sustainable technology through: - Periodic events. - Timely and coordinated communications. - Training campaigns. - Involvement with other HPE technical and innovation programs. - Develop and track metrics to assess the impact of the Sustainable Technology Program. - Monitor industry and customer trends; combine market information with technology sustainability expertise to make strategy and portfolio recommendations. Qualifications - Bachelor's OR Master’s Degree in Business, Science, Engineering, or related field. - 6+ years’ experience in program or project management, engineering, operations, business planning or other similar roles. - Advanced understanding of sustainable design, corporate or government sustainability programs. - Aptitude to learn/understand global sustainability related policies, regulations, standards, and literature. - Proven cross-functional project management and leadership skills, leading to positive organizational change. - Track record of driving results through deep and resourceful collaboration. - Experience tracking and monitoring market trends and opportunities. - Analytical thinking skills. Requirements - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Consensus-building and conflict-resolution skills to drive buy-in from executives and individual contributors to execute programs. - Ability to manage cross-functional teams and develop an understanding of the HPE business and overall business strategy. - Strategy and execution, ability to digest multiple teams’ strategies across the organization and develop both company-wide strategies as well as the individual success measures necessary to help track execution against these strategies. - Project and program management skills – excellent time management and organizational skills. - Systems thinking and ability to consider how to drive diverse projects concurrently and complementarily, including projects within team and outside of team scope. Job Requirements
