• Lead onsite deployment and commissioning of robotic systems. • Perform advanced troubleshooting and system diagnostics. • Coordinate with multiple trades and client teams for installation planning. • Calibrate, test, and validate system performance to specifications. • Interpret complex mechanical, electrical, and controls drawings. • Train and mentor Apprentices and RDT I technicians. • Provide technical feedback and recommendations to engineering teams. • Ensure adherence to all safety standards and field best practices. • Travel up to 80% of the time across the U.S. (potentially Canada).
Job Requirements
- HSD or GED
- Technical training in Mechatronics, Robotics, or related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in robotics, automation, or complex industrial equipment installation.
- Expert knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems integration.
- Strong understanding of BMS, FLS, and industrial networking fundamentals.
- Proven ability to lead small teams or coordinate subcontractors in the field.
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency interpreting and updating technical documentation.

Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Robotics Deployment Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be on the front lines of innovation, traveling to client sites across the country to install, configure, and deploy cutting-edge robotics systems. This is a hands-on position that requires a strong background in both mechanical and electrical systems, along with a passion for robotics and automation technologies. Key Responsibilities - Travel to client locations to install, test, and deploy robotic systems. - Perform mechanical assembly, wiring, and integration of robotic components. - Configure software and hardware settings to ensure optimal system performance. - Conduct on-site troubleshooting and diagnostics to resolve technical issues. - Collaborate with engineering and support teams to ensure successful deployments. - Train end-users and client staff on system operation and basic maintenance. - Document installation procedures, configurations, and client feedback. - Ability to travel up to 80% of the time across the US (potential Canada and Mexico) Qualifications - Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related field. - 3+ years of hands-on experience in both mechanical and electrical systems. - Proven experience with robotics, automation, or industrial equipment is a plus. - Strong understanding of wiring diagrams, schematics, and mechanical drawings. - Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. - Ability to work independently in fast-paced, client-facing environments. - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. - Ability to interpret technical drawings (e.g., electrical plans, CAD layouts) and understand how mechanical and electrical systems interface (e.g., BMS, FLS). - Experience working in Amazon fulfillment centers or other high-paced industrial environments is highly preferred. - Strong working knowledge of field safety standards and installation best practices. - Willingness to be trained and certified as a Red Badge for Amazon robotics floors and OSHA 30 safety credential. - English/Spanish bilingual proficiency is a strong plus. - Willingness to travel extensively (up to 80%), including potential projects in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. - Must reside within the United States Pay and Benefits $36-$40/hr + Overtime At PAC, we offer a full benefits package with no waiting period! • Conduct research and development in robotics areas such as motion planning, manipulation, perception, and multi-robot coordination. • Design and build reusable, production-quality robot behaviours that enable robots to be reconfigured to execute different industrial processes autonomously. • Develop robotics software across the stack, from application logic to motion planning and control. • Integrate perception, planning, and control components into a reliable, end-to-end robotics system. • Improve the robustness of the robotics stack to support continuous operation and reduce downtime in production environments. • Develop solutions that run consistently in both simulation and on real robots, helping reduce the simulation-to-reality gap. • Collaborate with mechanical, AI, and simulation teams to turn new technical advances into deployable capabilities. • Contribute to scaling robotics deployments across multiple customer sites and industries.
