Role Description ASRC Federal is seeking a Linux Systems Administrator to support enterprise infrastructure for the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA). This role will manage and maintain Linux systems supporting critical applications and database platforms while collaborating closely with infrastructure engineers and database administrators. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration and experience supporting Linux systems that host enterprise database platforms, including Oracle environments. This role will help bridge operational support between Linux system administration and database administration. The position will also support hybrid infrastructure environments, including VMware virtualization and Microsoft Azure cloud platforms, with responsibilities that may include building Linux systems in Azure and assisting with infrastructure modernization efforts such as migrations from VMware to Azure.
