MES Consultant
Rockwell Automation
• Support the Functional, Technical, and Recipe Authoring team to implement Pharmasuite solutions for Life Sciences customers. • Support fit-gap-analysis and configure functional aspects and solution designs for commercial proposals and into solution delivery • Support the authoring of Functional Design Specification to define what functions fit the standard application framework and what custom developed application code is required for site-specific business purposes • Author/review/execute project MES system validation plan (such as informal testing, authoring integration test protocols, formal testing) • Collaborate with the technical development team to define the development activities in a product feature backlog using tools such as JIRA to successfully manage the development of client-specific application code • Support installation activities of Pharmasuite at client sites. • Support Gen AI initiatives.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Willing and able to travel and work at client sites. Travel can vary on assignment from 0% to 100% but can average 30%
- Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening
- Preferably, an understanding of object-oriented/traditional coding (Java, Python) with cloud-specific knowledge, focusing on managing containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and understanding hybrid cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Basic knowledge of AI/GenAI technologies is preferred to contribute to evolving digital transformation strategies
- Preferably, MES domain knowledge
- Experience within the Life sciences/Pharmaceutical/Biotech/Medical Devices industries
- Proven communication and presentation skills
- A high level of motivation, personal engagement, flexibility, and willingness to learn and grow with gained experience
- Abstract thinking ability for developing technically sustainable, robust, modern, performant, as simple as possible, maintainable, and reusable solution designs
- Ability and willingness to learn the numerous functionalities (mainly of Rockwell Software PharmaSuite®) but as well as customer business and life science industry requirements
- Detail oriented, methodical, and conscious work ethic producing high quality deliverables.
