• Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable backend and middleware services using Python and FastAPI • Architect and implement middleware layers to enable seamless integration between enterprise systems • Build and maintain secure REST APIs following industry best practices and security standards • Implement and manage authentication and authorization mechanisms, including OAuth2, JWT, SSO, RBAC, and MFA • Integrate and manage identity and access management systems such as Okta and Azure AD • Develop integrations with cloud platforms including AWS and Microsoft Azure • Ensure secure data handling, secure key management, and secrets rotation • Monitor, analyze, and respond to security events and integration failures • Collaborate with DevOps teams on secure cloud configurations.

• Build and operate backend systems that serve AI-powered features in production. • Design inference pipelines, orchestration layers, and service boundaries around models. • Own production concerns: monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident response. • Optimize latency and throughput across inference, caching, batching, and streaming.

• Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and develop Ruby scripts and applications to meet business needs. • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using Ruby and Ruby on Rails. • Develop front-end components using Vue.js or other front-end JavaScript frameworks. • Deploy and manage applications on the Heroku platform. • Follow Git management best practices for version control and collaborate effectively with the development team. • Create and maintain SASS/CSS stylesheets for consistent and appealing user interfaces. • Apply common software engineering design patterns to ensure high-quality and scalable code. • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. • Contribute to the improvement of development processes and methodologies. • Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in Ruby scripting and related technologies.
