Product Content Manager

• Own and evolve Openly’s product content strategy, ensuring insurance products are clearly, accurately, and compellingly represented across internal and external channels. • Translate complex P&C insurance concepts (coverage, underwriting, eligibility, etc.) into accessible, differentiated messaging for independent agents, consumers, policyholders, and internal teams. • Partner closely with cross-functional teams to develop product narratives, positioning, and value propositions that support growth and adoption. • Lead content development for product launches and enhancements, ensuring messaging consistency and readiness across marketing, sales, and partner channels. • Establish and implement standards, templates, and governance practices for product content creation and organization to ensure consistent adoption across teams. • Create and manage core product content assets, including product overviews, coverage explainers, agent-facing collateral, FAQs, launch materials, and sales enablement resources. • Maintain and optimize product content across digital channels, including website, lifecycle communications, and internal knowledge bases. • Ensure all product content is accurate, compliant, and aligned with regulatory and legal requirements, partnering closely with internal reviewers. • Monitor and analyze product content performance and qualitative feedback from agents, partners, and internal teams to inform messaging decisions, guide prioritization, and continuously improve clarity, usability, and effectiveness across channels.

Job Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in product content, product marketing, or insurance-focused writing roles.
  • Deep knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance, with hands-on experience writing about coverage, underwriting, and insurance products (carrier, MGA, insurtech, or agency background preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience building new content processes or systems from the ground up and driving adoption across multiple teams.
  • Experience operationalizing content in a growing or evolving organization, including documentation, training, and ongoing process improvement.
  • Proven ability to translate complex, technical insurance concepts into clear, persuasive content for both external and internal audiences.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with a portfolio or examples of insurance or product-focused content.
  • Proven ability to influence without authority, aligning stakeholders around shared standards, timelines, and ways of working.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to balance accuracy, compliance, and clarity.
  • Strong project management skills, able to manage multiple content initiatives, timelines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Comfort operating with ambiguity and building structure where none exists.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Insurance, or a related field preferred.
