• To ensure a hands-on approach to Remo’s specialty care model, the Medical Director maintains a 30% clinical commitment alongside their administrative leadership. • Lead, supervise and mentor multidisciplinary care team members to deliver high value, empathetic patient care. • Stay current with the latest research and advances in dementia care and translate this knowledge to the team to ensure the highest possible quality of care (e.g., pathways for screening and addressing needs around social determinants of health, fall risk assessment and intervention, approaches to high risk medications, etc.) • Partner with the Senior Director of Clinical Operations to architect and enforce clinical care SOPs. Lead the synthesis of clinical excellence and operational efficiency. • Contribute to our program evaluation framework by identifying metrics that matter most for dyad outcomes, clinician satisfaction, and care model improvement. Spearhead population health initiatives and aggressively refine care models based on real-world evidence and emerging clinical best practices. • Serve as the internal voice for patient and clinician wellbeing, ensuring every operational decision supports superior health outcomes and a positive clinician experience. • Serve as the primary clinical strategist to Product and Engineering, ensuring that innovative tools are leveraged to scale best-in-class care consistency and reduce clinician cognitive load. • Work in cross-functional teams, translating Remo’s high-touch care philosophy into functional clinical requirements that guide the development of internal tools and patient-facing interfaces. • Alongside the clinical team, provide rigorous clinical validation for new features, ensuring every technical iteration enhances the dyad relationship and adheres to the highest medical standards. • Build a clinical talent pipeline for our care model. Hire, supervise, onboard, and lead a team of clinical experts (e.g. Neurologists, Geriatricians, NP, Care Navigators, RNs, LCSW, Pharmacists ) to ensure that Remo’s clinicians deliver high value, empathetic care. • Direct the development of clinical protocols and ensure all telehealth services meet (and exceed) strict regulatory and compliance standards across all operating states. • Elevate Remo’s presence as a national leader in dementia care by spearheading our clinical thought leadership. You will represent the company at key industry conferences and author insights on the intersection of technology and dementia care delivery. • Define how we incorporate the disciplines of geriatrics and palliative care in our care model to deliver the highest quality care and best possible experience to the dyads we serve. • Develop a cohesive remote team culture by fostering deep clinical trust across a remote-first team. • Build and maintain a continuous learning culture through educational programs rooted in the latest science of dementia care.

Job Requirements

  • Are a Board Certified Geriatrician, Neurologist, or Internal Medicine Physician with experience caring for older adults with cognitive disorders.
  • Have an active medical license in at least one state without restrictions. Multi-state licenses preferred.
  • Have 5+ years of clinical practice, including a minimum of 2 years in a clinical leadership role within a high-growth startup or digital health environment.
  • Excel at communication in a remote first environment, embrace asynchronous tools (Slack, Notion, Loom, etc) and foster a remote culture with warmth and clarity.
  • Have a deep understanding of dementia and geriatrics, with familiarity with CMS GUIDE model or similar value-based care frameworks.
  • Have proven experience transitioning clinical workflows into modern digital delivery models that effectively serve our patients and caregivers.
  • Are a proven cross-functional collaborator with Product, Technology, Marketing, Growth, Clinical/People Operations, and Finance.
