Job Description: Remote position with 6 weeks of on-site training during the day. Candidates must live within commuting distance to the UPS facility. About the Role As a Customs Brokerage Specialist II, you will review import documentation, troubleshoot discrepancies, classify goods using the Harmonized Tariff Schedule, and ensure shipments meet federal regulatory requirements. You’ll communicate directly with customers, carriers, and international partners to keep freight moving efficiently and compliantly. What You’ll Do - Prepare and process customs entries accurately and on time - Review and audit commercial documents; identify and resolve discrepancies - Apply correct HTS (Harmonized Tariff Schedule) codes for duty assessment - Communicate documentation needs with customers and foreign origins - Coordinate freight forwarding and delivery with domestic and international carriers - Submit customs entries via GBS-CM in a timely manner - Scan and upload documentation into internal imaging systems - Prepare reports, presentations, and database-driven analyses - Maintain strong relationships with clients through proactive, clear communication - Support weekend or holiday work on a rotational basis, as needed What We’re Looking For - High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent - Basic understanding of U.S. customs operations, regulations, and government agencies - Familiarity with HTS codes or tariff classification (preferred but not required) - Strong computer skills and comfort with data entry - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve documentation issues Training & Commitment Requirements To ensure success and proficiency: - 6 weeks onsite training (required) - 6-month lock-in period after hire to complete all training - 1-year product lock-in to maintain continuity and skill proficiency After training is complete, this is a fully remote position. The ASC plays a dual role: strategic sales enablement and technical advisory, ensuring our demountable wall offering is positioned competitively and successfully across the U.S. Duties & Responsibilities - Build and manage national strategic partnerships (manufacturer, A&D, GC, etc.) that generate qualified demountable wall opportunities. - Serve as the primary technical advisor to FAEs on all demountable wall opportunities, from early qualification through close. - Provide conceptual design guidance, solution feasibility, and pricing recommendations while partnering with internal designers and manufacturer resources for full layouts. - Support opportunity strategy, positioning, and competitive differentiation to increase win rates. - Review architectural drawings, specifications, and customer requirements to ensure accurate scoping and solution alignment. - Partner cross-functionally with Merchandising, Category Ops, PM, and Installation to ensure end-to-end solution quality and delivery readiness. - Maintain strong product knowledge across key wall systems, competitive products, and market trends. - Create a repeatable national engagement model that improves process consistency, handoffs, and pipeline visibility. Qualifications - 3+ years of experience in architectural wall systems, modular construction, furniture systems, or related design/technical sales. - Proven success in building strategic partnerships and driving sales pipeline. - Strong understanding of architectural drawings, construction terminology, electrical/mechanical interfaces, and structural considerations. - Ability to read and review CAD drawings, architectural spec books, and installation requirements. - Excellent communication skills (executive presentations, customer conversations, and detailed technical communication). - Strong business and financial acumen; ability to influence through data. Requirements - 7+ years of experience in architectural wall systems, modular construction, furniture systems, or related design/technical sales. - Experience supporting a national sales organization. - Connections within A&D, construction, GC, and architectural product networks. - Familiarity with CET, AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design platforms (internal designers can own full design). - Experience with demountable wall pricing tools and manufacturer product lines.
