Role Description The Financial Edge NXT Consultant is an individual contributor with technical skills to design, develop and implement Blackbaud's Financial Edge NXT. This role requires experience with Blackbaud's Financial Edge NXT and expert level knowledge of: - Financial Edge NXT configuration - Chart of accounts - Workflow processes - Financial reporting - Non-profit accounting NPact’s services team consists of non-profit and Financial Edge NXT solution experts. Qualifications - Financial Edge NXT Professional Certification Required - 5+ years' experience with Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT - 5+ years' experience with Non-profit accounting - Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Accounting - Knowledge of GAAP, fundamental financial concepts, and procedures - Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel - Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach to work - Demonstrated success with time management and problem solving Requirements - Understanding customers' needs in Financial Edge NXT, proactively gathering information to learn about their requirements and expectations. - Configuring the Financial Edge NXT software solution to meet the customer’s requirements. - Building customized financial reports and making changes to existing financial reports in Financial Edge to better reflect what the Finance team needs. - Training teams on Financial Edge NXT system configuration, reporting, and required daily processes. - Setting expectations with the customer as it relates to project scope, timeline, and budget. - Identifying and presenting Change Orders to the customer when the customer’s requirements and/or budgeted project hours fall outside of the project scope. - Coordinating data extraction from various databases for importing. Job Requirements

  • Financial Edge NXT Professional Certification Required
  • 5+ years' experience with Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT
  • 5+ years' experience with Non-profit accounting
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Accounting
  • Knowledge of GAAP, fundamental financial concepts, and procedures
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach to work
  • Demonstrated success with time management and problem solving
