The Senior Technical Business Analyst - Contract is responsible for coordinating with the development team to deliver projects on-time and on-budget. This individual needs to be driven, willing to learn and is not afraid of taking responsibilities. The position is initially for 12 months and extendable. This is a remote position. The individual must be able to work independently. Job Functions - Manages the execution of multiple digital projects in tandem from start to finish. - Be comfortable leading projects across a variety of services, including website design & development, web content management, social media, eCommerce, and digital strategy. - Collaborates and coordinates on required testing/validation of system modifications, including creating test cases as needed. - Ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported, analyzed and resolved in a timely manner, and determines if escalation is required while retaining ownership throughout. - Complete documentation for project development efforts (including use cases, requirements, test plans, and process maps) and work closely with development team and business teams to ensure successful implementation. - Decompose high-level information into details and abstract up from low-level information to resolve solution vs. requirements conflicts. - Supports the project lead to identify best practices for project requirements, estimations, and timelines. - Able to provide guidance to junior employees. - Understand our technology stack and ensure that it aligns to our clients’ needs. - Research new technology. Minimum Qualifications - 5+ years of Technology Analyst / Business Systems Analyst experience. - 5+ years of SDLC experience. - 3+ years of web experience. - 2+ years of experience in project management, at a consulting firm or digital agency. - Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science. - Excellent communication, technical, analytical and problem-solving skills with a sense of urgency and commitment to accuracy and the ability to handle ambiguity. - Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a desire to work in a challenging position. - Detail oriented. - The ability to learn quickly, self-start and ask key questions ahead of deadlines. - Proficient in digital experience platforms and the underlying technology for the purpose web sites, social media, and eCommerce. - Skilled in MS Office and project management/collaboration tools (e.g. Jira, Slack/Teams, Git, MS Project, etc.). - Able to come on site in New Jersey. - Authorized to work in US without sponsorship. - Not a data analyst. Preferred Qualifications - Minimum of 6 months of web coding experience on a project. - Have a passion for technology. - Experience with Jira, CMS, React, PHP, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, website manual/automated testing, and web/mobile related technologies preferred. - Knowledge of front-end frameworks (i.e. Bootstrap) and experience working with responsive and adaptive designs. - Big Consulting, Vercel, and Contentful experience is a plus.

The Business System Analyst (BSA) is responsible for understanding the requirements determining how those functional requirements translate into technical specifications.
