Role Description The Corporate Trainer and Development Specialist owns and supports the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of training programs for all corporate departments. This includes enterprise-wide leadership development, employee soft-skill development, compliance training, and the governance of the Learning Management System (LMS). The role partners closely with the Operations Training team to ensure a unified learning strategy—Operations Training leads operations-specific learning while this role drives corporate-wide training initiatives, competency development, and leadership readiness across the organization. We are looking for a dynamic Corporate Trainer who can bridge the gap between employee potential and organizational goals. This role is equal parts strategist, facilitator, and technologist, responsible for shaping the end-to-end corporate learning experience—from new-hire onboarding to leadership readiness. Key Responsibilities - Onboarding & New Hire Support - Lead the New Hire Orientation (NHO) program to ensure a seamless transition for all incoming staff. - Act as the primary point of contact for new employees during their first 90 days, providing resources and “culture checks.” - Collaborate with department leaders to create role-specific onboarding pathways that improve engagement and reduce time to productivity. - Training Development & Delivery - Design and facilitate high-impact internal training sessions focused on technical skills, soft skills, and company-wide initiatives. - Create diverse learning materials including CBTs, slide decks, manuals, and interactive e-learning modules. - Conduct regular needs assessments to identify performance gaps and build targeted training solutions. - Evaluate training effectiveness using metrics, analytics, and continuous improvement strategies. - LMS Oversight & Administration - Serve as the Primary Administrator for the Learning Management System (LMS). - Develop and manage enterprise-wide course design, learning pathway design, and rollout of leadership development and soft-skill programs. - Oversee user enrollment, course assignments, and curriculum updates. - Track and report on key training metrics (completion rates, assessment scores, ROI). - Compliance & Regulatory Training - Develop, deliver, and monitor mandatory HIPAA privacy and security training to ensure proper handling of Protected Health Information (PHI). - Ensure 100% completion of all required annual compliance certifications, including harassment prevention and workplace safety. - Maintain accurate training records in both the LMS and HRIS to support internal and external audits. - Translate complex legal and privacy policies into clear, digestible learning modules. - Soft Skill & Leadership Development - Develop and deliver workshops on communication, emotional intelligence, conflict resolution, and other soft skills. - Build and support leadership development resources for emerging leaders and first-time managers. - Employee Engagement & Culture - Design and implement initiatives that strengthen employee morale, retention, and cultural alignment. - Analyze engagement survey data to develop “culture-first” learning interventions. - Support internal communication strategies to ensure employees remain informed and connected to the company mission.
