Do you enjoy doing detailed analysis to inform marketing strategy? Samsara is looking for a Senior Marketing Analytics Manager to join our Marketing Analytics and Data Science team. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in building our data science roadmap, developing predictive models, and refining AI-driven scripts to enhance account identification and enrichment. You’ll collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, and Data Engineering teams to unlock insights, automate processes, and scale marketing intelligence through advanced analytics. We’re looking for someone who can balance strategic vision with execution, someone who’s comfortable coding, testing, and iterating while also influencing stakeholders and driving measurable impact. This role is open to candidates residing in the US except the San Francisco Bay Metro Area, NYC Metro Area, and Washington, D.C. Metro Area. In this role, you will: - Conduct detailed data analysis to inform marketing strategy, informing how we target prospects and optimize our marketing channel mix. - Design and evaluate marketing experiments to measure incremental impact, validate channel performance, and inform budget allocation decisions. - Support the development and evolution of our marketing attribution model and other measurement frameworks to better capture the influence of marketing across the customer journey. - Partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities to leverage AI and advanced analytics to improve marketing insights, automation, and decision-making. - Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices. Qualifications - M.S., or Bachelor's in Statistics, Computer Science, Math, Machine Learning, Economics or other related quantitative fields. - 5+ years of relevant data science or advanced analytics work experience and 5+ years of experience building advanced analytical models/analysis to inform strategy. - Advanced knowledge of marketing measurement (attribution, marketing mix modeling, lift studies) and has direct experience working in marketing and doing detailed analysis supporting marketing strategy. - Experience conducting and designing large scale experimentation processes from end-to-end, executing on incremental studies, and translating results into actionable business decisions. - Expertise in Tableau and/or similar platforms; expertise in coding languages and tools like Python, R and SQL - hands on coding experience is needed for this role. - Interest in applying emerging AI and machine learning techniques to enhance marketing analytics, automation, and decision-making. - Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, critical thinking, and communication abilities. - Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced business environment. - Strong innovative mindset that is comfortable taking nebulous problems and solving them end to end. Requirements - Experience working with cutting edge LLM tools, web scraping, third-party data providers, or AI-driven automation. - Experience analyzing B2B marketing strategies, channels and lifecycle identifying areas of opportunity and optimization. - Familiarity with web analytics, tracking platforms, CRM tools and cloud-based data pipelines. - Comfort working in an exploratory environment, testing and iterating on new data sources and methodologies.
