Role Description This role involves developing a modern web-based acquisitions system, helping to streamline the contracting processes for government agencies. - Serve as the primary authority for UX/UI strategy and execution. - Maintain a comprehensive understanding of user needs and the approved design approach. - Define and enforce design standards, style guides, and interaction patterns. - Ensure cohesive user journeys across pre-award, award, and post-award activities. - Lead the full UX lifecycle including research, ideation, wireframing, and prototyping. - Translate complex acquisition workflows into intuitive user experiences. - Design workflows to improve adoption and productivity for the federal workforce. - Develop high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes. - Ensure design solutions align with user needs and regulatory requirements. - Operate effectively within an Agile framework and manage design work. Qualifications - Demonstrated experience serving as a Design Lead on complex web platforms. - Proficiency with industry-standard design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or Sketch. - Deep understanding of UX/UI principles and project lifecycle practices. - Proven ability to work within Agile or Scrum development environments. - Strong understanding of modern web technologies and front-end constraints. - Experience designing secure, scalable interfaces deployed in cloud environments. - Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
