Role Description The Leadership Development Program Coordinator is responsible for driving the planning, delivery, and execution of leadership development programming. This role serves as a key point of contact for program participants, vendors, and stakeholders, ensuring seamless event execution and effective communication. We are seeking a detail-oriented and inquisitive professional to join our team, supporting project work with our leadership community of practice, with the opportunity to contribute to the development of leadership content and experiences. The ideal candidate will bring fresh ideas, organizational skills, and a data-driven approach to drive growth and improvement in organizational initiatives. - Drive event planning and delivery efforts for leadership and development programming, identifying efficiencies wherever possible - Serve as primary point of contact for program participants, venues, vendors, presenters and leaders prior to and during leadership programming and events - Work directly with vendors and internal procurement/contracts partners to execute contracts and payments - Liaise with program communities and stakeholders, managing regular touch points, while participating in project teams and the execution of deliverables - Own logistics planning for leadership development events - including venue and lodging identification, catering, conference room bookings, and establishing relationships with onsite points of contact - Complete post-program logistical and operational activities (contract completion, expense reporting, communications and follow ups, feedback surveys) - Manage intake process, scheduling and facilitator coordination for business requested teambuilding activities and assessments - Provide support in the creation, generation and distribution of post-program metrics and scorecards - Support facilitation and content delivery as needed Qualifications - Bachelor's degree or higher preferred - 2+ years of applicable experience - Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written, and effectively influence when necessary - Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) - Must be data-oriented and have strong problem-solving, analytical and in-depth research skills - Be self-motivated with a bias for action, process/results oriented - Be able to prioritize and self-manage a multitasked workload in a fast-paced environment - Make decisions with sound judgment while complying with policies and procedures - Be detail-oriented with meticulous record-keeping skill - Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business or related field Requirements - Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 2 years work experience or equivalent experience Company Description BAE Systems, Inc. is the U.S. subsidiary of BAE Systems plc, an international defense, aerospace and security company which delivers a full range of products and services for air, land and naval forces, as well as advanced electronics, security, information technology solutions and customer support services.
