• Lead Edify’s work in the region, providing strategic leadership in line with Edify’s overall direction. • Ensure the outworking of the overall Edify strategy to achieve the mission in the country programs. • Provide leadership and support to the Country Directors of each operational country. • Oversee the budgeting and spending of the region, ensuring appropriate financial management. • Ensure timely review and analysis of expenses versus budget. • Ensure each country receives the necessary technical and operational support. • Focus on leadership development within country teams and the region. • Ensure data-informed decisions that enhance impact on Christ-centered education. • Lead regional growth while maintaining quality in school transformations. • Develop a strong understanding of the country contexts and regulatory compliance. • Champion program innovations to position Edify as a leader in Christ-centered education. • Serve as an ambassador for Edify, building strategic relationships within the education sector.
Job Requirements
- Personal confession of faith in Jesus Christ and commitment to Edify's mission and vision.
- At least ten years' experience in private enterprise businesses, educational organizations (at managerial level), international development or economic development work.
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Management, Education, Finance, International Development, or related field.
- Knowledge of Finance and/or Microfinance operations.
- Strong leadership, development, and coaching skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong team player attitude.
- Strong multicultural work attitude.
- Personal maturity and capacity to build and maintain harmonious personal relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to be able to manage difficult situations and make tough decisions when required.
