**What You’ll Do** - Design and implement scalable, high-performance backend systems to power our e-commerce experience. - Build and maintain APIs that support our frontend, mobile, and third-party integrations. - Architect systems for membership access, catalog management, checkout, order fulfillment, and payments. - Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and data teams to deliver features that elevate the user experience. - Own backend services end-to-end, from design to deployment and monitoring. - Contribute to best practices in code quality, testing, reliability, and observability. - Help define our backend architecture and make strategic technical decisions as we scale. - Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.

• You’ll work across the stack on the core Prezly product, building features that our customers use every day. • Building user-facing features in React and TypeScript • Implementing backend logic and APIs in PHP (Symfony) • Improving performance, reliability, and developer experience across the stack • Collaborating closely with product and design to turn ideas into shipped features • Shipping code continuously through our CI/CD pipeline • Improving existing parts of the product through refactoring, bug fixing, and iteration • You’ll be involved in the full lifecycle of features - from understanding a customer problem to shipping and refining the solution.

• Ensure service excellence and maintain robust, scalable technical foundations, leveraging technologies such as Scala, Python, MySQL, Clickhouse, Redis, Kafka, Qdrant, Solr • Help lead the team through complex product and technical roadmaps, guiding them to consistently successful outcomes. • Work to improve the processes, systems, and tools we use to deliver quality products and champion technical initiatives and direction. • Build processes to proactively identify and address technical issues as part of team delivery or escalate larger initiatives for prioritization with team leadership. • Provide technical mentoring for engineers across the team and facilitate learning through pairing, documentation, and workshops.

• Ensure we build, scale, ship, and monitor our platform reliably, leveraging technologies such as Scala, Python, MySQL, Clickhouse, Redis, Kafka, Qdrant, Solr. • Partner with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define requirements and complete feature work. • Work to improve the processes, systems, and tools we use to deliver quality products and champion technical initiatives and direction. • Uphold project quality and planning through meeting deadlines, breaking down work, and ensuring proper testing and monitoring • Lift the skills of other engineers through mentorship, knowledge sharing, and providing feedback on PRs and technical designs.
