• Partner with business stakeholders to develop strategic sourcing strategies • competitively bid requirements • select suppliers • negotiate • contract • onboard • manage suppliers • Utilize the full set of advanced procurement levers such as demand management • spec rationalization to identify cost savings opportunities • Analyze and interpret business requirements • associated spend information • future procurement demand plans • Develop and maintain market understanding and working knowledge of supply economics • processes and cost drivers for the relevant product portfolio • Ensure objectives • actions and priorities are aligned both within Procurement and the Arxada business • Collaborate with top business leaders at Arxada and colleagues at all levels • Drive proactive Procurement communications • Support decision making • Jointly develop and implement strategy
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (Business or Finance) or equivalent experience
- Master’s degree (MBA) or an equivalent level of experience (preferred_ for Indirect Procurement)
- Experience supporting manufacturing sites (i.e. chemical plants, Oil & Gas, etc.) from a procurement perspective

Role Description The Contract Specialist II, reporting to the Network Operations/Contracting Manager, plays a critical role in managing contracts within the PHSO. This position demands a strong grasp of healthcare regulations and contract law to develop, negotiate, and oversee a variety of agreements, including service, provider, and vendor contracts. - Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contract language and rates. - Ensuring all documentation is accessible to DHMSO staff electronically and in hardcopy. - Ensuring all contracts comply with relevant laws and organizational policies. - Collaborating closely with legal, finance, and compliance teams to mitigate risks and secure favorable terms. - Monitoring contract performance, compliance, and renewal dates. - Maintaining a comprehensive contract management system for accurate record-keeping. - Acting as a primary contact for external partners on contract matters. - Organizing and attending relevant meetings. - Performing general office and clerical duties. - Securing one-case agreements with non-contracted providers when needed. - Providing administrative support to designated management staff. This position is vital for ensuring all contracts are compliant, cost-effective, and aligned with organizational objectives. Qualifications - 6+ years experience working in a high-level administrative support position. - 2+ years working in a medical group, health plan, hospital or other related healthcare organization. - In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, Stark Law, and Anti-Kickback Statute. - Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Law, or related field. - Proven track record of successful contract negotiation and administration.
