Role Description The Solutions Consultant role is responsible to meet quarterly and annual quota objectives working in tandem with the Sales organization. As a member of this team, you will add value throughout the sales process in the areas of requirements analysis, solution development and in depth product demonstrations. This role is the trusted advisor for presenting the Bill suite of products to Mid Market and API prospects, as well as Accounting firms during the sales process. An ability to understand business process flow with strong technical and presentation skills is essential for success in this role. - Lead discovery to uncover business requirements across payments, approvals, and accounting workflows; document and translate them into solution designs. - Develop and deliver tailored, high-impact demos—virtual and in-person—that clearly show how BILL solves prospect pain points. - Serve as the pre-sales technical point of contact for Mid-Market, API, and Accounting Firm prospects; respond thoroughly to product and integration questions. - Partner with Sales, Sales Enablement, and Product to refine demo narratives, scripts, and best practices; share insights that guide solution enhancements. - Advise on process improvements and integration approaches between BILL and in-house accounting systems. - Act as a subject-matter expert on competitive payment and adjacent solutions; articulate BILL’s differentiators and use cases. - Own the technical content for RFPs/RFIs and translate new release information into customer-ready messaging. - Coach Account Executives to become self-sufficient with demos and discovery. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in a technical field required. - 5 years in a pre-sales position with an Enterprise or Mid Market SaaS company, preferably focused on the financial buyer. - Application experience with one or more of the following solutions desirable: Netsuite, Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains and/or Business Central. Requirements - Will require less than 15% travel in the first year. As a Senior Quantum Field Engineer, you’ll be part of a team whose mission is to lead IonQ on its journey to build the world’s best quantum solutions for the verticals that depend on Computational Fluid Dynamics and optimization focused on materials science and chemistry - solving the world’s most complex problems. - Inspire prospective clients by explaining IonQ’s strategy, portfolio and answering technical questions about quantum portfolio (compute, network, security, sensing and space) and quantum applications. - Lead and shepherd client discussions, inspiring them to see how quantum applications can be implemented in their business domain. - Work through business needs and map Quantum Algorithms into application code and execute Proof-of-Concepts with the IonQ Application team. - Share insights from clients with the IonQ Product Management and Engineering teams. - Navigate competitive objection handling. - Translate business needs expressed by clients into technical work projects in collaboration with other team members. - Create assets to explain features of our quantum applications and other IonQ quantum products. - Move dialogs from initial ideation to focused exploration domain through to proof-of-concept and ultimately into production workflows. - Lead client discovery sessions for business-oriented use cases that uncover potential overlap with development of useful quantum algorithms. - Partner with marketing, developer relations and business development to grow awareness of IonQ. - Attend industry conferences, as needed, to talk to clients and support booth activities. - Some travel expected in the US (20%) but opportunities for global travel are available as well.
