Lime is hiring a Community Engagement Lead to join our Government Relations team! In this role, you will report to the Director of Government Relations, US - West. You will lead our efforts in fostering strong relationships with the communities we serve across Puget Sound and develop strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will have experience working directly with community members and the public. The role requires a background in public engagement and project management. This is a remote position within the United States with a requirement for candidates to reside in Seattle to maintain effective collaboration across teams. What You’ll Do: - Community Engagement Strategies: Develop and implement comprehensive community engagement strategies. - Public Meetings and Events: Organize and facilitate open houses, roundtables, and community events to gather feedback, foster dialogue and educate our riders. - Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, local organizations, and stakeholders. - Primary Contact: Serve as the primary point of contact for public and community inquiries and concerns. Liaise with government partners. - Stakeholder Communication: Ensure timely and accurate communication with stakeholders regarding project developments and impacts, and maintain a stakeholder database to track interactions and feedback. - Public Relations: Collaborate with the Lime Communications and Marketing teams to develop clear and effective communication materials, represent Lime at public events and ensure all communications are culturally sensitive and inclusive. - Program Development and Reporting: Work closely with Lime’s operations team to integrate community feedback, develop and manage community participation programs, monitor engagement effectiveness, and prepare reports for Lime management teams and municipal partners, as necessary. About You: - At least two (2) consecutive years related experience leading or working in community engagement, government affairs, public policy, campaigns, and/or communications, within the Seattle area. - A minimum of two (2) years working directly with any level of government. - A multi-tasker comfortable working on multiple priorities at once while executing projects in a demanding environment. - Availability to travel around the Puget Sound area and other Pacific Northwest markets - Available for regular events on evenings and weekends. - Previous professional experience in transportation and mobility would be beneficial.
