Title: Head of Renewals, North America Location: Remote Position Overview: The Vice President of Renewals, North America is a senior commercial leader responsible for driving customer retention, optimizing renewal performance, and growing recurring revenue across the North American customer base. This role leads the NA Renewals function, setting regional strategy, building scalable processes, managing a high-performing team, and partnering closely with Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and Product to deliver seamless, value-driven renewal experiences. Key Responsibilities: Regional Leadership & Strategy - Own and execute the North America renewals strategy aligned with regional revenue goals. - Define renewal playbooks, processes, pricing approaches, and escalation paths. - Build and lead a high-performing North America Renewals team. - Act as the senior renewals leader for the NA region, partnering with executive leadership. Operational Excellence - Own renewal forecasting, pipeline management, KPIs, and dashboards for North America. - Partner with Customer Success to identify risk and drive proactive renewal engagement. - Collaborate with Sales and Finance on commercial strategy, pricing, and policies. - Improve tools, automation, and processes to scale efficiently. Customer Engagement & Revenue Performance - Oversee high-value and complex customer renewals and negotiations. - Analyze churn and contraction drivers and lead mitigation initiatives. - Ensure timely, value-focused renewal communications. Requirements: - 10+ years experience in Renewals, Sales, Customer Success, or Revenue Operations - Experience leading Renewals strategy in Born in Cloud environment - Strong understanding of SaaS or subscription business models. - Proven ability to drive high renewal rates and reduce churn. Strong analytical, communication, and executive presence skills. - Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive presence. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in enterprise software or SaaS environments. - Industry experience in Cloud-Native environments - Background in pricing strategy or revenue operations. - Experience leading distributed North America teams.
