Senior Full Stack Engineer – Virtual Primary Care Platform
LifeMD
• Design, build, and optimize backend services and front-end experiences that power scheduling, task management, and provider-patient workflows. • Contribute to the evolution of platform APIs, data models, UI component libraries, and service boundaries across our Node.js and React-based stack. • Collaborate with product, QA, and design teams to deliver features that directly impact patient and provider experience — from data layer through UI. • Participate in and help improve the company-wide SDLC — including requirements gathering, code review, automated testing, deployment, and post-release monitoring. • Support fellow developers through thoughtful code reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing on design patterns, testing, and observability. • Partner with DevOps and Security to ensure high availability, resilience, and SOC-2/HIPAA compliance across the stack. • Contribute to technical reviews and help inform the roadmap for core platform domains. • Improve internal documentation, migration strategies, and coding standards across LifeMD's full stack systems.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong depth in both backend and frontend development.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js / TypeScript on the backend and React (or similar modern framework) on the frontend.
- Solid experience with MongoDB (or similar), Redis / message queues (BullMQ, SQS, etc.), and RESTful API design.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, asynchronous processing, and responsive, accessible UI development.
- Hands-on experience building event-driven architectures and integrating with third-party services (EHRs, pharmacies, telehealth APIs).
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) and container orchestration (ECS, Docker, or Kubernetes).
- Experience working in regulated or healthcare-adjacent environments (SOC-2, HIPAA) is a strong plus.
- Comfortable balancing architectural thinking with hands-on coding and code reviews across the full stack.
- Strong communication skills — able to work cross-functionally and articulate technical tradeoffs clearly.

This role requires significant travel and can be based anywhere in the United States, as project work spans multiple regions and may require long term on site presence. The Superintendent provides on site leadership for fast track construction, driving safety, quality, schedule performance, and robust trade coordination on mission critical builds. - Lead daily field operations on mission‑critical data center projects valued between $25M and $100M. - Supervise subcontractors, craft labor, and trade partners to ensure safe, high‑quality execution. - Drive fast‑track project delivery while maintaining strict safety, quality, and schedule standards. - Apply strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems within mission‑critical facilities. - Coordinate daily work activities with master schedules, short‑interval look‑aheads, and logistics plans. - Manage site logistics, including material deliveries and OFCI/CFCI vendor integration. - Develop and maintain detailed field schedules to ensure proper sequencing of work. - Ensure work complies with drawings, specifications, codes, and contract requirements. - Maintain accurate documentation including daily reports, safety logs, and quality records. - Mentor and manage Assistant Superintendents to support their development and performance. - Collaborate effectively with Project Managers, design teams, inspectors, vendors, and field staff. - Build strong relationships across diverse teams while reinforcing accountability and results. Qualifications - 7+ years as a Superintendent in commercial, industrial, or mission‑critical construction. - Minimum 3+ years leading hyperscale and/or colocation data center projects. - Proven success executing highly technical, fast‑track industrial projects. - Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience considered. - Strong working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems in mission‑critical environments. - Ability to lead and coordinate multiple trade partners effectively. - Excellent planning, scheduling, communication, and team‑leadership skills. Requirements - Must be willing and able to travel more than 50% of the time, including extended stays at project sites. - Ability to relocate temporarily as needed based on project demands. - Comfortable working in multiple regions across the United States.
