Staff Platform Engineer

• Maintaining our AWS infrastructure • Scalable & Maintainable Backend Feature Development [Python Experience is Required] • Scalable & Maintainable API/SFTP Integrations [Experience is Required] • Monitoring and troubleshooting Postgres DB (adding/removing indexes, partitioning/sharding) • Maintaining developer environments. • Managing CI pipelines and runners. • Setting up and managing alerting systems. • Providing on-call support and guidance to other developers to triage issues.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ Years of Professional Software Development Experience
  • 2+ Years of Professional SRE/DevOps Experience
  • Professional experience maintaining/enhancing Kubernetes cluster via IaaC [Terraform experience preferred].
  • Professional experience with Python (2+ years required)
  • Strong fundamental understanding and usage of a RDBMS [Postgres preferred]
  • In-depth knowledge and hands on experience with AWS
  • Solid engineering fundamentals and passion for high quality code
  • Product intuition, user empathy, ability to make sound UX decisions
  • Strong work ethic, end-to-end ownership mentality
