Analyst, Store Operations / Workforce Management About the role Reporting to the Manager of Workforce Management (Store Operations) at Ann Taylor/LOFT, the Analyst, Workforce Management core responsibilities include optimizing the WFM tools/systems for the field and provides the necessary support, guidance and direction to stores for the best execution towards labor goals and ROI. This position includes the management of our automated workforce management system, labor budgeting, forecasting and allocation and the execution of the divisional standard operating procedures via WFM. They also will be responsible for helping with strategic road mapping and delivering initiatives across the business. This is primarily a remote work model role, based out of our NYC Times Square Tower office. The impact you can have Technology Support - Manage maintenance, configuration, documentation and production support of our WFM system. - Participate in enhancements and technology rollouts for our WFM system including requirements gathering, testing, implementation and post-implementation support. Payroll and Reporting - Assist in seasonal and monthly payroll budgeting process, including how payroll is allocated, executed, and tracked. - Prepare monthly sales and payroll planning tools for distribution to field teams. - Generate regular reports for field teams and leadership on scheduling compliance, productivity, store closures and payroll spend, while highlighting risk and making recommendations to correct action. - Monitor mid-month progress and determine changes to projections and payroll model as needed to protect the business requirements and budgets. - Maintain factors used for labor planning such as indexes and wage rates. - Develop and modify custom reports as needed in response to business trends and callouts from leadership. - Assist in the management of the workload planning committee to make sure all appropriate activities are captured and updated as necessary for any labor allocation needs. - Run ad hoc data requests and analyses for cross functional partners and leadership as needed. Organizational Strategies and Support - Maintain documentation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for use by corporate partners, field partners, and stores teams stores to facilitate efficient execution of non-selling tasks. - Monitor WFM team’s inbox working with the Field organization including store teams to ensure business continuity. - Trouble shoot and assist various functional partners as necessary to ensure weekly timekeeping and payroll are processed as required with no business interruption. - Work with cross-functional partners in Store Operations, Finance, HR, IT, Payroll, Planning and Visual to support labor planning initiatives and capture all non-selling activities, including managing a SharePoint database. - Travel to stores along with Corporate/Field leadership to seek feedback, review implementation and directly collaborate with Field leaders in the payroll allocation models, selling cost and WFM system applications. - Effectively communicate and escalate potential issues appropriately. - Highlight risk and opportunity to field leadership and make recommendation to correct action. - Keep projects on track towards meeting milestones, achieving pre-defined goals and apply learnings for future strategies.
