Summary The role of the Collibra Data Governance Specialist is to implement, administer, and enhance enterprise data governance capabilities using Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud. This role will partner with business, data, analytics, and IT teams to establish strong data governance practices, improve data transparency, and enable trusted, compliant data across the organization. The ideal candidate combines hands-on Collibra expertise with a solid understanding of data governance frameworks, metadata management, and stakeholder engagement. Key Responsibilities Collibra Platform Implementation & Administration - Configure and administer Collibra Data Governance and Data Catalog - Customize operating models, domains, communities, assets, and workflows - Implement business glossaries, data dictionaries, and ownership models - Manage Collibra integrations with data platforms, BI tools, and metadata sources Data Governance & Stewardship - Define and operationalize data governance policies, standards, and processes - Support data stewardship and ownership across business domains - Enable data lineage, impact analysis, and data certification - Ensure governance practices support regulatory and compliance requirements Metadata, Lineage & Data Quality - Ingest and manage technical and business metadata - Support automated and manual lineage across systems - Collaborate with data quality teams to surface data quality rules and metrics in Collibra Stakeholder Engagement & Enablement - Work with business and technical stakeholders to onboard data assets into Collibra - Conduct training sessions for data owners, stewards, and users - Promote adoption of Collibra as the system of record for governed data Required Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or related roles - 3+ years of hands-on experience with Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud - Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and operating models - Experience working with metadata, lineage, and data cataloging concepts - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Preferred Qualifications - Experience integrating Collibra with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Azure, AWS) - Familiarity with BI and analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) - Experience with data quality tools and processes - Knowledge of regulatory requirements (GDPR, CCPA, SOX, etc.) - Collibra certification (Ranger, Governance, or equivalent) Technical Skills - Collibra Data Governance & Data Catalog - Metadata management and data lineage - Data governance operating models and stewardship - Integration with cloud data platforms and BI tools Soft Skills - Strong facilitation and communication skills - Ability to work across business and technical teams - Detail-oriented with a strong governance mindset - Ability to drive adoption and cultural change What We Offer - Opportunity to build and scale enterprise data governance programs - Hands-on work with leading data governance platforms - Collaborative, cross-functional data teams Location Requirements This role is a remote role. The compensation range for this position represents our good faith estimate of the range we reasonably expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered will be determined based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, education, work location, and internal equity.
