Inpatient Medicare & Medicaid Biller
IKS Health
• responsible for compliant, accurate and timely billing of hospital patient accounts • manage multiple tasks effectively • identify and correct errors to ensure prompt payment • generate and submit claims to Medicare and Medicare Advantage • review patient financial records and claims prior to submission • resolve claim edits and requests • maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with stakeholders
Job Requirements
- 2-5 plus years in a hospital setting
- at least 1 year background in Medicare and Medicaid hospital billing functions
- experience with electronic health records and medical billing software
- very strong analytical and compliance skills
- knowledge of hospital billing requirements
- knowledge of revenue cycle management best practices
