Qualifications - 6-8 years of experience in Power BI, analytics - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, or related field (MBA a plus). - Proficiency in business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel). - Working knowledge of SQL and Python for data querying, analysis, visualization and automation. - Skilled in developing automated workflows and scripts to streamline data processing and reporting. - Experience with cloud platforms and data warehouse technologies. - Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Role Description The Energy Manager & Trader is responsible for optimizing the commercial and operational performance of the company’s hydropower portfolio across ISO/RTO and bilateral power markets. This role leads energy management, wholesale market participation, and trading activities to maximize revenue, manage risk, and support long-term portfolio value. The position requires close coordination with plant operations, finance, and senior leadership to align hydrology, dispatch decisions, and market strategies across organized markets and bilateral transactions. This position is expected to be filled out of our office headquarters located in Bethesda, Maryland. Candidates in other areas may also be considered for a remote position.
