Senior Sales Associate, Expansion
Juniper Square
• Source New Opportunities: Proactively identify and engage Fund Administration expansion opportunities through strategic outbound outreach across an assigned portfolio of existing Juniper Square customers. • Partner Cross-Functionally: Collaborate closely with Customer Success Managers (CSMs) to review account portfolios, analyze customer health and activity, and identify expansion triggers. Work together to develop tailored engagement and outreach strategies. • Customer Engagement: Participate in customer business reviews, QBRs, and ongoing touchpoints to uncover operational gaps, evolving business needs, and opportunities to position Juniper Square’s Fund Administration solutions. • Pipeline Development & Handoff: Act as the bridge between CSMs and Account Executives (AEs)—qualifying expansion opportunities and executing a seamless handoff for sales follow-up and deal execution. • Campaign Collaboration: Partner with Marketing and Sales leadership to drive awareness and engagement through events, webinars, and industry conferences. Contribute to campaign planning and follow-up to build and accelerate FA pipeline. • Data Management & Reporting: Maintain disciplined and accurate tracking of all outreach, account signals, and opportunity progress within Juniper Square’s CRM and reporting systems. • Performance & Accountability: Consistently achieve or exceed quarterly pipeline creation goals for Fund Administration, demonstrating strong execution, collaboration, and strategic account engagement.
Job Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in customer-facing roles within B2B SaaS, investment management, or fintech
- Understanding and experience working within Fund Administration services within private equity, venture capital, or real estate
- Proven ability to build relationships with senior finance personas—especially CFOs and fund operations leaders—to identify business needs and drive expansion opportunities
- Proven ability to identify and qualify expansion opportunities within an existing customer portfolio, including upsell/cross-sell motions and pipeline generation
- Experience conducting strategic outbound outreach (email, phone, LinkedIn) to engage current customers and uncover new growth use cases
- Demonstrated success collaborating cross-functionally with Customer Success Managers, Account Executives, and Marketing to drive coordinated account engagement
- Comfortable participating in QBRs, customer touchpoints, and business reviews to identify expansion triggers and position additional solutions
- Highly organized with strong CRM discipline in Salesforce, experience with Outreach or Gong is a plus
- Results-driven and motivated by achieving quarterly pipeline and opportunity creation goals
- Interest in growing into a broader account growth or full-cycle sales role within a high-performing GTM organization
