Data Analyst

HockeyStack

• Partner directly with customers to understand their revenue goals, challenges, and open questions. • Use HockeyStack's platform to analyze GTM and marketing data, delivering clear recommendations that drive action. • Translate complex metrics into straightforward insights for non-technical stakeholders. • Support Customer Success Managers as a dedicated data partner, strengthening the strategic guidance we deliver to clients. • Identify trends and patterns across marketing and sales data to help customers prioritize where to focus. • Collaborate with internal teams — Product, Engineering, and CS — to improve the customer experience and inform product development.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Applied Economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in data analytics or consulting with an analytical focus. Strong preference for marketing analytics or GTM/sales analytics experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills — you can frame ambiguous questions and structure a path to the answer.
  • Excellent communication skills — you can explain data-driven insights to senior stakeholders without jargon.
  • Familiarity with SaaS, B2B marketing, or revenue analytics is a strong plus.
  • Ability to think strategically and recommend actions based on data without needing to deep-dive into raw datasets.
  • Ownership-first mindset — you take initiative, move fast, and figure things out.
  • You thrive in early-stage, high-urgency environments where speed and impact matter.
