Paralegal – Medical Records
Zinda Law Group, PLLC
• Process medical records and billing requests from attorneys • Draft and submit medical records and billing requests for retrieval • Track and process received medical records and bills • Follow up on pending requests • Follow up on requests that need additional information or documentation for completion • Work closely with the team to update them on status of medical records • Ensure all policies and procedures are followed and completed • Ensure completion and accuracy of received records, and troubleshoot any issues with incomplete records • Communicate with teams to address any issues regarding records; Communicate with providers • Verify all Provider information • File management including keeping all files organized and filing mail and faxes daily
Job Requirements
- College degree or paralegal certificate required
- 1 Year of experience in legal or medical field
- Organized, with high attention to detail
- Ability to follow process and procedures
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Outgoing and looking forward to working as part of a team
- Trustworthy, exercising confidentiality in all situations
- Dedication and willingness to assist with a variety of tasks
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong multi-tasking skills
- Previous work in a law firm a plus

Experience handling California cases is a plus, though not required. - Oversee and coordinate a high-volume General Liability docket for a Senior Managing Partner. - Serve as primary liaison between attorneys, legal administrative assistants, and other paralegals to ensure efficient case management. - Manage multiple complex litigation matters simultaneously. - Monitor case filings and provide detailed assessments to attorneys. - Draft and prepare initial drafts of various pre-trial motions, dispositive motions, and other pleadings. - Review and evaluate discovery documents including medical records, sales documents, employment records, and other case materials. - Compose case assessments and evaluations for review by associates and partners. - Record and submit contemporaneous billable time in accordance with firm policies. - Perform intensive administrative work and procedural tasks related to case management.
