• Manage payroll workflows to ensure accurate and timely processing for both domestic and international employees. • Deliver excellent customer service through proactive communication and effective issue escalation. • Reconcile payroll reports, validating payroll taxes, benefit deductions, and pension contributions. • Collaborate with the Benefits team to ensure correct benefit deductions and taxation. • Review payroll tax reconciliations and quarterly filings to ensure compliance with local, provincial, and federal regulations. • Maintain audit trails and documentation for all payroll transactions. • Support HR management with compliance requests related to compensation, taxation, and reporting. • Prepare employer tax forms. • Respond to employee and leadership inquiries about payroll matters. • Create financial, personnel, and operational reports, including monthly executive summaries. • Own and optimize payroll processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and consistency. • Support broader payroll operations, including: Acting as backup during payroll cycles, Assisting with payroll transitions in M&A activity, Handling employment and income verification requests
Job Requirements
- 3–5 years of payroll administration experience across multiple countries.
- CPP or FPC certification (preferred).
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication skills across all levels.
- Solid understanding of accounting basics and payroll best practices.
- Strong knowledge of labor and compensation regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office (required).
- Experience with UKG (UltiPro) is a plus.

The ideal candidate will support daily accounting operations, ensure compliance with tax regulations, and manage payroll functions accurately and efficiently across 9 states, 3 entities and 90+ locations.
