Our Newest Opportunity: Client Management & Strategic HR Advisory - Serve as primary HR consultant and trusted thought partner to multiple retainer and project-based clients. - Develop and implement comprehensive HR priority plans aligned with client organizational goals. - Provide consultation and guidance on: - Wage and hour compliance - Leaves of absence (FMLA, CFRA, PDL, PFL, ADA) - Workers’ compensation - Employee relations and investigations - Performance management - Benefits and payroll compliance - Interpret and apply state and federal regulations including COBRA, ERISA, FMLA, ADA, ACA, and related employment laws. - Conduct HR audits and compliance assessments; prepare formal reports and client presentations. - Identify workforce trends and advise on policy, procedure, and talent management improvements. - Participate in leadership meetings to integrate HR strategy with business objectives. - Act as liaison between clients, employees, management, and vendors to ensure seamless HR service delivery. - Keep internal and external leadership advised of potential risks and recommend actionable solutions. - May be asked to work onsite Operational Excellence & Service Delivery - Interprets client contracts and manage billable work, ensuring accurate time tracking and reporting. - Identify supplemental services and opportunities for expanded client engagement. - Manage multiple email boxes and communication streams efficiently and professionally. - Prepare correspondence, policies, reports, training materials, and formal documentation with strong attention to detail. - Translate benefit plan designs and compliance requirements into clear guidance for employees and leadership. - Conduct employee and management training sessions, webinars, and workshops. - Develop and deliver customized HR training content for clients. Business Development & Company Contribution - Actively listen to evolving client business challenges and identify opportunities for HR and operational solutions. - Collaborate with leadership to upsell and cross-sell company services aligned with client needs. - Refer potential new business opportunities to support company growth. - Participate in company-wide meetings, working groups, and HRC practice initiatives. - Mentor and guide junior staff or HR support employees as needed. Professional Development - Maintain professional and technical knowledge through workshops, professional publications, certifications, and industry networks. - Participate in professional societies and HR-related continuing education. - Travel locally and occasionally overnight as required. Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location.
