Responsibilities & Qualifications RESPONSIBILITIES - Leads or supervises a team of configuration management specialists and serves as the Configuration Management (CM) Lead or Subject Matter Expert (SME). - Provides configuration baseline control throughout the lifecycle of highly complex information systems, including component software and hardware elements. - Facilitates and advises the DLA Configuration Control Steering Group (CCSG) and Configuration Control Working Groups (CCWG). - Maintains allocated, functional, and physical baseline control and performs audit support. Reviews all engineering change requests to assess impacts on the configuration baseline and logistics support elements. - Maintains configuration control records and technical documentation. - Works closely with quality assurance and management representatives to ensure an accurate and well-documented product baseline. - Prepares directives for change authorization and implementation. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Clearance - Secret - IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive Clearance Tier 3 (T3) investigation. Experience - Ten (10) years of relevant experience - Experience leading or supervising a team of configuration management specialists Certification - Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
