Role Description Envoy Global is seeking a DevOps Lead Engineer to play an integral role in safeguarding and optimizing Envoy Global’s technology ecosystem. They will oversee the deployment, operation, and protection of the organization’s physical infrastructure, cloud environments—primarily within Azure—and all electronic data systems. This role champions automation, reliability, and continuous improvement, driving the engineering culture forward while enabling teams to deliver software and services with confidence. - Manage operational aspect of the CI/CD pipeline including source control, build systems, infrastructure, networking, deployments, and permissions management - Work closely with Development, Data, Project Management, and Infosec teams to ensure management, operability, and security of Envoy’s applications hosted in Azure - Participate in architecture, requirements, and planning sessions with project owners and stakeholders - Design and deliver DevOps projects that ensure infrastructure is 24x7 operational as well as cost effective - Train and mentor DevOps engineers to meet Envoy Global’s growing requirements for the future - Participate in planning sessions and daily stand-ups with multi-region DevOps staff - Proactive planning and organization to adjust to the flexible needs of Envoy Global’s business - Ensure business continuity and disaster recovery plans are tested and updated on an annual basis - Serve as an escalation point to help prioritize and resolve complex or urgent issues and incidents - Maintain relationships with vendors and contractors for services and maintenance of software and systems - Ensure 24x7 5x9s uptime for Envoy Global applications Qualifications - Expert, hands-on experience in application builds and deployments: specifically, but not limited to, .Net and SQL Server frameworks (msbuild, dotnet, ssdt, dacpac) - Strong communication (written and verbal), analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills - Ability to present complex information to technical and non-technical stakeholders - Expert level hands-on experience working with technology areas such as: - Source control and CI/CD tools (Git, Azure DevOps, MSBuild, Jenkins, TeamCity, Octopus Deploy, Harness, etc.) - API Management – Design, Gateways, Security, Monitoring - Azure platform services, including Azure SQL, Service Bus, Key Vault, Blob Storage - Kubernetes clusters (experience in Azure AKS a plus) - Windows/Linux Administration - Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and ARM - Content Delivery Network providers (Cloudflare, Akamai) - Monitoring tool sets such as DataDog, Splunk, ELK - Self-motivated, self-directed, and customer service-focused with the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment - Champion Change and Release management Requirements - This position is 100% remote, working from home, within the United States Benefits - Salary Range: $135,000-$150,000 Company Description Envoy Global is a proven innovator in the global immigration space. Job Requirements
- Expert, hands-on experience in application builds and deployments: specifically, but not limited to, .Net and SQL Server frameworks (msbuild, dotnet, ssdt, dacpac)
- Strong communication (written and verbal), analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to present complex information to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Expert level hands-on experience working with technology areas such as:
